Gluten Free Pre-Workout Oatmeal

As of late I have become very obsessed with my health. I am going to the gym, waking up and exercising, eating right and generally taking much better care of myself. Recently I decided to start taking protein powder and was about to but a pre-workout supplement. I started looking online and found that a lot of pre-workouts are full of random chemicals that may not help me in this stage of life. As such I started looking into nutrient rich food and came up with this little recipe for a pre-workout oatmeal!

Ingredients:

Gluten Free Sweet and Sour Meatballs

This year my girlfriend and I hosted Friendsmas at our house. This was my first Gluten Free Christmas! We had a bit of a potluck, everyone brought something to eat. One of our guests made two batches of Sweet and Sour Meatballs, one with gluten, one without. 

Ingredients:

Sauce:

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 1/2 cup of vinegar
  • 2 tbs of Worcestershire

Meatballs:

  • 1 egg
  • 10 crackers
For the gluten filled meatballs my friend crushed up 10 saltine crackers in a food processor. For the gluten free meatballs she used gluten free breadcrumbs from a local gluten free restaurant. You can use any gluten free crackers or breadcrumbs here.
